After watching hours and hours of home improvement shows, my husband and I finally decided to take the plunge and redo the kitchen cabinets in our vacation home. The stock cabinets that came with our home were old and outdated and I wanted something that looked more updated, not quite too contemporary but that blended with the overall feel of the house. We called JL Builders based on a friend's recommendation and am so happy that we went with them. Their workmanship and professionalism are number one and I always felt like my home was a priority to them. Their line of custom cabinetry was exactly what I was looking for! I was presented with many choices that would have worked with my decor and budget, but I ultimately chose their in-house line of custom cabinets because they were extremely well made and JL stands behind their work. Installation did not displace our kitchen and disrupt our everyday routine like I had expected and they were done well ahead of schedule. We had contemplated renovating the main floor of our home for quite some time so when we actually decided to go ahead with our plans we wanted to make sure we chose a contractor who only provided quality workmanship and products. We got to know John and Luke Barban from JL Builders through our own business and we really liked them on a personal level. After consulting with them and reviewing some of their previous projects we were convinced that they would be able to live up to our expectations and we certainly were not disappointed. Their level of expertise and attention to detail were evident right from the start and it was obvious that they, along with the rest of their staff, took great pride in their workmanship. They were easy to deal with and along with the help of their designer, Kaili, the many decisions we had to make became simple and fun. All the materials used were of a high quality, from the beautiful kitchen cabinets and granite countertops to all the plumbing, electrical and flooring products. If any issues came up during the renovation process they dealt with them swiftly and professionally. We highly recommend JL Builders and absolutely love the transformation to our home!
